Professional Stuntwoman for Hire.
Chandra DeAlessandro isn’t loud about what she does. She doesn’t need to be. Her name shows up in the credits, her moves show up on screen, and the teams she’s a part of remember her name.
She came up through martial arts and built her film career around action — not only the the flashy martial arts stuff, but the kind that requires showing up, syncing with the team, and hitting marks without overthinking it.
Chandra is a California local and longtime member of the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures. Her screen credits include Unbreakable, where she added grounded stunt work to the film’s quiet, eerie pacing. She’s also featured in the dystopian world of Soldier, and took hits in Get Carter, a story packed with gritty physicality.
She holds a black belt in Taekwondo and has also trained in Tang Soo Do and Muay Thai. It’s the kind of background that doesn’t just stay in the gym — you can see it in how she moves, when to react, and when to hold still. Controlled. On Play It to the Bone, she stepped in as a double for Lolita Davidovitch, bringing that foundation into quick, close-up exchanges that had to feel instinctive, not choreographed.
She also landed a stunt role as a cop in the first Spider-Man, adding energy and realism to crowd sequences and establishing shots. Her earlier work on Daybreak, Outta Time, and the emotionally complex 21 Grams gave her opportunities to blend precision with pacing.
On the TV side, she’s credited for stunt work in the Stephen King miniseries Rose Red and the sci-fi thriller Epoch, both of which relied heavily on atmospheric tension supported by behind-the-action stunt crews.
She’s the kind of stunt performer who knows when to act fast, when to hold, and when to stay quiet and wait for the cue. That rhythm — not just the stunts — is what keeps a set running smoothly scene after scene.
