Celebrating the fearless stunt performers of the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures, bringing action and excitement to films and television with expertise and precision.
Some people leap off cliffs for the thrill. For Heidi Pascoe, it was just the beginning.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Heidi started high diving professionally at 18. Not long after, she made history by becoming the first woman to win the Acapulco Cliff Diving Championship at just 24. It was fearless work that demanded total control—and it launched her straight into the world of film and television stunts.
After moving to California in 2002, Heidi shifted into stunt work full-time. Since then, she’s built a reputation across the industry as a trusted professional stunt performer who thrives under pressure. Her resume stretches over 100 film and TV projects, often as a female stunt double for A-list stars.
She picked up serious recognition early. In 2011, she won the Taurus World Stunt Award for Best High Work in Predators, where she performed a jaw-dropping high fall that sealed her place among the best. A year before that, she earned a SAG Award as part of the stunt ensemble on True Blood, doubling Anna Paquin for 39 episodes—some of the most intense scenes in the series.
You might’ve also seen her, without realizing it, as Lady Gaga in A Star is Born, or as Reese Witherspoon in This Means War. Heidi’s doubled for Kate Mara in both Chappaquiddick and Fantastic Four, and took on high-energy sequences in The Happytime Murders with Melissa McCarthy.
Television has been just as action-packed. She’s worked on stunt teams for shows like Bones, Fear the Walking Dead, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Big Little Lies—doubling again for Witherspoon in a series packed with tension.
But Heidi doesn’t just take the hits. She also leads teams as a stunt coordinator, overseeing precision choreography and film set collaboration on projects like The Water Phoenix and Petal Pushers, where safety, timing, and teamwork are everything.
Her impact behind the scenes is just as respected. As a member of the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures, Heidi’s built strong working relationships with some of the top names in the business—mentors, coordinators, and second unit directors alike. Folks like Hiro Koda, Bob Brown, and Mike Massa all speak highly of her commitment, her preparation, and her presence on set. She doesn’t just show up and perform—she brings calm, trust, and real skill to every production.
From underwater sequences in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to full-speed chaos in Fast Five and intense battles in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Heidi has proven again and again that she’s not only one of the best in high-risk physical stunts—she’s also a reliable, grounded member of any elite stunt team.
This is a woman who didn’t just break into the business—she dove in headfirst, and has never looked back.
