Professional Stuntwoman for Hire.
Katie Rowe doesn’t just dive into her work — she brings the crew with her. She’s one of the few professional stunt performers whose resume swings between full-on brawls to hyper-specialized underwater coordination. Not many people can say they’ve kept A-list actors safe during submerged shoots and doubled in action filled cage fights — Katie can.
As a proud member of the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures, Katie’s worked on everything from comic-book blockbusters to big action thrillers. You’ll find her work in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Poseidon, and Crank: High Voltage, contributing everything from cast training, to water safety coordination.
She’s worked behind the scenes as a scuba instructor on Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and The Odd Life of Timothy Green, training cast and even the director. That’s part of her unique skillset — blending technical instruction with performance intuition, where one needs to be deep trained and have the ability to make fast, high stakes decisions.
Katie’s height (6'3") and physical presence have allowed her to fill unique on-camera roles, like carrying a 250-lb man in Sorority Boys or wrestling in Birds of Prey. But she’s not just strong — she’s highly trained. Certified in scuba, CPR, lifeguard instruction, and advanced weapons tactics, Katie brings a layer of real-world expertise to every gig.
On TV, she’s been the go-to for rescue work in water-based episodes of CSI: Miami, House, and Without a Trace. She handled pool-party gags on Chuck, explosions on NCIS: LA, and deep-fight choreography on Star Trek: Enterprise, where she doubled Suzie Plakson. One day it’s comedy, the next it’s a detailed underwater technical performance.
Katie’s credits keep expanding — but what sets her apart is her combination of strength, training, and focus. From being a Certified Red Cross Lifeguard, Former EMT, CPR, First Aid and Oxygen Provider Instructor - there are few who can bring both hard knocks action to a set, but also save your life if necessary!
