Professional Stuntwoman for Hire.
Kelli Barksdale stands out where most people would blend in. Being under five feet tall has worked in her favor. She’s used her size to carve out space in an industry that doesn’t usually leave much room. One of the most consistent female stunt doubles working today—especially for setups involving kids, creatures, or roles that break the mold.
She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. The only girl in a loud, all-boys household. Did cheer in high school and took it all the way to nationals. Twice. Studied broadcasting at the University of Tennessee. Taught stunts with UCA while still in school. After graduating, she gave acting a shot in New York, and then moved west to Los Angeles. Joined SAG in 2005. Became a member of the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures in 2011. And she hasn’t stopped working since.
She’s taken hits in The Black Phone and doubled in Cocaine Bear. These aren’t glam roles—they’re physical. No space for mistakes. She worked on Doctor Strange: in the Multiverse of Madness, wore a full creature rig in Chupa, and led the physical performance in El Chupacabra.
She also worked on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Spielberg’s The Fabelmans, and pulled off blind action in Bird Box. These weren’t green-screen stunts either—they were raw, physical gags.
Her television work is stacked too. NCIS: Los Angeles—she’s doubled Linda Hunt there for more than a decade. Criminal Minds, Scorpion, Game Shakers. High falls. Wire gags. Precision Driving. But it does not stop there, she works in motion capture, too! With titles like God of War 5, a range of Sony releases, Real Steel, and even the Avatar safety training video for Disney Parks.
Her training backs it all up too. Boxing. Trampoline. Stunt driving. She’s trained with Tim Storms and Rick Seaman. Wire rigs, fight choreography, scuba, Tae Kwon Do. The prep is real—and it never stops.
Coordinators keep bringing her back as well, because she’s nice, easy to work with and like the rest of her stunt team, she shows up, hits the mark, without drama, over and over and over again.
