Kelsee Devoreaux has spent her entire career doing amazing gigs — quietly. You won’t find her on red carpets too often, but you’ll find her flipping cars in music videos, sprinting through action films, and showing up in the credits of some of the biggest movies of the past 25 years.
She’s a longtime member of the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures, and her résumé shows why. She’s doubled Jada Pinkett Smith across multiple films — from The Matrix Reloaded to Collateral to the early classic Set It Off. In Widows, she stepped in for Cynthia Erivo under the direction of Steve McQueen, delivering flawless stunt work without missing a beat.
She’s also no stranger to classics. Kelsee doubled Janet Jackson in Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, and handled the fun action scenes for Stacey Dash in Clueless and Elise Neal in Scream 2. Whether it’s wire work, close-quarter fights, or vehicle choreography, she’s done it — and often for actresses at the top of their game.
Her credits go deep: The Haunted Mansion, Fat Albert, The Italian Job, Terminator Salvation, Cradle 2 the Grave, and The Time Machine — from utility stunts to driving to fire work to both doubling children and adults.
Television? She’s all over it. Kelsee’s stunt doubled on Hawthorne, Lincoln Heights, The Bernie Mac Show, and Clueless: The Series, often jumping from set to set, working long, fast-paced days with little prep but high expectations. Her size and agility let her double for young performers, teens, and petite adults — always matching movement, always camera-ready.
And then there’s the music video side — a whole world of stunt precision most viewers miss. Kelsee has performed in videos for TLC, Jay-Z, Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliott, and Memphis Bleek, even taking on car work in 2 Fast 2 Furious-style driving setups. When it came time to drop, crash, or burn in frame — she was the one they called.
She’s also done fire work, motion capture, and game performance capture, including Enter the Matrix, where she reprised her role as Jada’s double for interactive scenes — a rare crossover few stunt professionals get to do.
Kelsee’s not flashy about any of it though. She’s a humble pro. She trains, she shows up, and she keeps performers safe while making it all look real. That’s the job — and she’s still doing it.
